How To Keep Window From Zooming In And Out In Word For Mac

Checking this box will enable the default keyboard shortcuts for screen zooming: ⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command+8 - Zoom in or out of a fixed magnification level. ⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command - Zoom in while Screen Zoom is enabled. ⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command+-- Zoom out while Screen Zoom is enabled. There are actually default keyboard shortcuts for zoom in (Control Option -) and zoom out (Control Option =), at least for English Canadian keyboard. For keyboards where + and = don't share the same key, I'd try Control Option + for zooming in.
Hello, You may try this solution by going into control panel and open the touchpad options (under Synaptics) and disable the swipe to zoom function. If you don't see Synaptics in control panel then let me know what do you see and I'll see if I can find a solution.
Please provide the make and model of your computer as that will help in finding a solution. Thank you I have a Dell with Windows 10 with the same problem. I go into setting - devices - mouse and touchpad and did not find what I needed, but when I put 'zoom' into the search function on the settings window, it gave me 'magnifier.' So I was able to turn that off, but then it keeps turning itself on again. I saw no option to 'apply' my choice.

AND after I turned it off, it puts a little magnifier window in the middle of my screen that I have to close. So it's just as it was, magnifying when I don't want it to. Thanks in advance for any help! I have the same issue, and do not see Synoptics option. Using Windows 10, latest version. Dell Inspiron 15 laptop Thanks This has been driving me NUTS and I just figured it out! I have 2 laptops, a nice new Lenovo Yoga, which is solved exactly as described above (Synaptics options).
But on my goofy el-cheapo ASUS, i don't have that option. In the bottom right there's usually a little 'carat' symbol next to the battery display. In that carat if you click it is an app called 'ASUS Smart Gesture'. Inside that app there are all the touchpad gestures and one of them is 'click to zoom' which is set by default. This is NOT to be confused with the 'magnifier', which I also turned off, but doesn't affect those accidental zoom gestures from screwing up your viewing!
I hope this helps! So anyone who has an HP I found out how to change it! Go to settings 2.Go to devices 3.Go to mouse and touchpad 4. Go to the bottom where it says Related Settings and click (additional mouse settings) 5.Go to the last tap to device settings 6.
Click on the highlighted item called synaptics Touchpad (make sure it is highlighted) 7. Go to settings 8. In there you can do anything with the mouse/keypad (change the zoom option and all) I hope that has helped a little more. I was going crazy trying to find it but it just took a little more searching to find what the previous person was talking about. I have the same issue, and do not see Synoptics option. Sometimes you have to address huge crowds when you are presenting things. And when the number is really big, it becomes difficult for the audience at the back or the corners to follow the slide contents. Besides, if a detailed picture or some dense stuff is packed in, it gets too difficult for the presenter to. Now, what do you do under such circumstances? If I am correct, you create hidden slides to and bring them up as zoomed in slides of specific portions.
