About Safari for Mac Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Computer, Inc. And available as part of its Mac OS X operating system. It was included as the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3 (Panther) and is the only browser bundled with Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger).
In those older versions of Safari, History.plist is a simple plist file that can be read or accessed through a quality text editor (BBedit etc) or plist editor. Same overall directory, just a different file (plist vs db). Despite being many versions behind what’s available on a Mac, Safari in Windows runs fine, though since it’s an earlier web browser version from some years ago you will find that some of the newer fancier rich web features are not supported, and there are numerous potential security flaws.
