I'm really dismayed as to why they don't make Quicken for Mac and Windows interoperable. I'd love to go to a different, more modern package that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and has decent cloud accessibility as well. If you are using this for your personal finance why not check out the app store.

Ah Quicken, the app we love to hate. I've tried every Mac finance app.and I use Quicken for Windows. MoneyWiz is quite nice, but very simple. This seems to be the case with most Mac finance apps. The only ones that come close to matching Quicken in terms of features are Moneydance and Banktivity. Moneydance has matured quite nicely over the years, but it's still a cross platform Java (I think) app and, at times, it shows.
